These tumbled Crazy Lace Agate Stone display various colors of deep reds, cool greys, and soft creams throughout the stone. No two are the same!
Crazy Lace Agate (also known as Mexican Agate) is young in comparison to many other minerals on Earth and is a 6.5-7 on the mohs scale. Found only in Chihuahua, Mexico, Crazy lace agate is believed to have been created in the cretaceous period, about 65-90 million years ago. It is a banded chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) that's infutilized with iron and aluminum and is often brightly colored and complexly patterned. This produces the creamy browns, blacks, greys and golds (and occasional pinks or reds) swirled together in this stone. Crazy Lace Agate is said metaphysically to help to boost one's energy, reinforce concentration, and fosters inner stability.
