Trolleite is a mineral that can occur in the form of small crystals, which are often twinned or in clusters. It can be found in granite, syenite and alkali feldspar pegmatites, as well as in metamorphic rocks and polished to have a pointed tip. Trolleite is known for its light grayish-green or blue-green shades.
Trolleite is an extremely rare aluminum phosphate mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses and small prismatic crystals. It is commonly found as an inclusion in Quartz, alongside similar minerals such as Scorzalite and Lazulite.
